We confirm whether your best pathway is points-tested (189/190/491) or employer-sponsored (482/186/187).
Skills & Document Checklist
A tailored checklist for skills evidence, work history, qualifications, and sponsor documents (where required).
EOI / Application Consistency Review
We check your details for accuracy across EOI/forms and supporting documents to avoid mismatches that can cause delays.
Submission Readiness
Final file audit before submission—clear formatting, complete attachments, and clean documentation flow.

Work Visa Process

At Mubeen Migration, our culture is shaped by core values that guide everything we do

Confirm your occupation and pathway suitability for the visa category.
For points-tested visas: prepare and lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI) via SkillSelect (invitation required).
Prepare qualifications, employment evidence, and supporting documents in a clear structure.
Organise financial and identity documents for you and any family members.
For employer-sponsored cases: align job details and employer nomination documents with the visa stream.
Final consistency check (names, dates, job titles, timelines) across all documents and forms.
Do points-tested visas require an invitation?
Yes—SkillSelect is the online system used for EOIs, and you generally need to be invited to apply for skilled visas through it.
What’s the difference between 189, 190 and 491?
189 is a skilled independent visa (invited). 190 is for nominated skilled workers (permanent). 491 is a regional provisional skilled visa (temporary).
Is Subclass 482 still called TSS?
Home Affairs states the Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482) replaced the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa from 7 December 2024; older TSS applications lodged before that date are processed under the rules in place at lodgement.
What is Subclass 186?
The Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186) lets skilled workers nominated by an employer live and work in Australia permanently.
Can I apply for Subclass 187 now?
Home Affairs notes the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (subclass 187) is closed to new applications (with limited transitional arrangements depending on stream/eligibility).
Where can I see recent invitation round information?
Home Affairs publishes SkillSelect invitation rounds information for eligible skilled visa programs.
